Last updated: 17 September 2026Vero Plunge doesn't need an account, doesn't show adverts, and doesn't sell your data. Your plunge history lives on your own device. That's it.
When you use Vero Plunge, your plunge sessions (date, time, duration and temperature) and your app preferences are stored locally on your device. We don't require - or offer - a sign-up, so there's no account for this data to be attached to. If you use the app's export feature, a file containing your logged plunges is created and shared using your device's own sharing options - where that file goes from there is entirely your choice.
The current version of Vero Plunge does not connect to Apple Health or Android Health Connect. Any temperature or heart-rate values you see are entered by you and stored only on your device. If a future version adds health-app integration, this policy will be updated to describe it, and any such access would need your explicit permission.
When Vero Plunge opens, it may download a small settings file from our website (icebathtimer.co.uk) to show up-to-date brand information and links, and to check whether a newer version of the app is available. This is a one-way download of public information - no personal data is sent to us when this happens, beyond the standard network request your device makes to load any web address.
No adverts. No selling or renting your data. No third-party advertising trackers. No account required to use the app.
Apple and Google collect their own standard technical information when you download or update any app (for example, device type, crash reports and install counts) under their own privacy policies. That data isn't something Vero Recovery controls or receives.
icebathtimer.co.uk doesn't use tracking or advertising cookies. Our hosting provider may keep standard technical server logs (like IP address and browser type) purely to keep the site running securely. If you use the contact form, the name, email address and message you enter are sent to us so we can reply - nothing more.
Vero Plunge isn't directed at children and we don't knowingly collect information from children.
